Minorca with Guillaume Foucher, co-founder of Fontenille Menorca

Minorca with Guillaume Foucher, co-founder of Fontenille Menorca | Decoclico

Guillaume and Frédéric are collectors. They fall under the spell of a place, refurbish it and turn it into a slow-life refuge, a parenthesis in the city, which they then add to their collection. With Fontenille Menorca, they take the experience a step further: two different but complementary fincas next door to each other. And for us, Guillaume Foucher shares his best addresses in Menorca.

Menorca is lanti Ibiza. A bohemian, authentic destination, with its wild paths and coves, far from the hustle and bustle and star system of the neighboring island, it was an obvious choice for Guillaume Foucher and Frédéric Biousse. Like many things, Fréderic and I went to Minorca for a rest, and we immediately fell in love with the island and its unspoilt nature, just 1h30 from Paris". 5 years earlier, the duo had scoured the island's houses, before falling in love at first sight: Torre Vella and Santa Ponsa, "a noble house with one of the most beautiful gardens in the Balearics, since Menorca is the only island in the Balearics to have palatial architecture". The creative tandem bought the two houses, each measuring 3,000 square metres, to create the hotel Fontenille Menorca .

And why Menorca? Because "it was Spain 20 years ago".
