The boudoir spirit embraces and re-enchants 19th-century bourgeois codes: a warm, cosy atmosphere, subdued lighting and decor inspired by curiosity cabinets. On the walls, baroque frames sit alongside witch's eye mirrors and ex-votos, toile de Jouy motifs and trumeau mirrors are found on softly rounded chests of drawers, and kilim rugs harmonise with consoles. Warm shades of opera red, warm brown, deep green, crimson or mordant, knick-knacks that we love to accumulate. Touches of brass on jewellery boxes placed on the dressing table, engraved glass candle holders or pretty bottles scattered around the table like jewels, mercurised glass candlesticks so easy to combine... A unique decor that can be used in both winter and summer.
